From my experience of praying in many mosques, once air-conditioners are installed, the staff at the mosque would not open the doors and windows to allow free flow of air. Janda Baik is known for its luxuriant greenery and it was indeed disheartening to see the two mosques there devoid of trees. Install sky lights to reduce usage of electricity and use energy-saving lights. Fix aerators on pipes to reduce water flow and splashes. Drain the ablution wastewater into a pond with reeds and water plants.
