A green hydrogen project in the Suez Canal Economic Zone in Egypt has received a €30 million (around $32.7m) grant. The Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation confirmed that Norway’s Scatec and the German PtX Development Fund signed the grant. The North African nation also launched a national strategy for green hydrogen production and is looking to become a leading green hydrogen producer and exporter.
