A BJP leader and his security guard were shot dead in Greater Noida's Bisrakh area on Thursday. The incident occurred in Tigri village in western Uttar Pradesh when BJP's Shiv Kumar Yadav, a resident of Bahlolpur village of Greater Noida, was travelling in his SUV. As he reached Tigri, bike-borne miscreants started firing indiscriminately at him, killing Yadav and his guard Bali. A second security guard was also injured in the attack. Assistant Superintendent of Police Suniti Singh said that according to initial investigation, the motive behind the murder appeared to be personal.
