THE 2020 Budget outlined the government’s approach to improving youth employability and economic wellbeing with initiatives that focus on continued funding in education, encouraging job advancement and health development. As a university student, I appreciate the cost efficiency measures as it would greatly assist youth’s finances. However, this is not a free pass and I hope my peers will treat it as a safety net as they explore the job market and not be careless.
