Great beer key to Brew's appealBENN BATHGATE/STUFF Croucher Brewing co-owner Paul Croucher established Brew Bar in 2011 as a way to get his beers in front of drinkers. Having good beer as your pub's USP – unique selling point – might seem rather obvious. When Brew Craft Beer Pub opened its doors in Rotorua, the domination of bland offerings from the country's two major brewers, Lion Nathan and DB, held sway in the majority of watering holes across New Zealand. In fact their domination was such that Paul Croucher, co-owner of both Croucher Brewing and Brew Craft Beer Pub, had to open his own pub. BENN BATHGATE/STUFF Brew Bar's Nicola Fleming serves up a pint of Croucher Brewing's award-winning Sulfer City Pilsner.
