Chris BatesPolice now say they have grave concerns for an Alexandra man who has been missing for nearly a week. Police said this morning they were briefing a LandSAR team and would be carrying out an extensive land and water based search in the wider Alexandra area. Detective Sergeant Cameron described Mr Bates as of slim build, about 180cm tall, with short to medium length brown hair and brown eyes. Mr Bates was wearing a grey hoodie, white T-shirt, dark shorts and sneakers. Anyone who may have information on his whereabouts should please contact police immediately on 111.
