more-inPharmaceutical manufacturer Granules India saw consolidated net profit increase by over 39% to ₹ 46 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017. For the full fiscal 2016-17, the consolidated revenue increased by 4% to ₹ 1,435 crore, while the net profit went up by 34% to ₹ 165 crore. The company Chairman and managing director Krishna Prasad Chigurupati , announcing the results on Thursday, said the Board of Directors has proposed a final dividend of 25 paise per share (face value of ₹1 each). The company has also initiated the construction of a greenfield facility in Vishkapatnam for venturing into oncology and speciality business. The Hyderabad-headquartered firm, during the year, had filed three ANDA from Gagillapur facility here and one from its facility in Virginia.
