Nevaeh Ager was brutally beaten to death by her father Aaron Izett in Maketu in March 2019. He and his wife called police about Izett's erratic behaviour and wanted their help to take their great-granddaughter - Izett's daughter Nevaeh Ager - out of the home. Nevaeh Ager, 2, was found dead in an estuary near Maketu in the Bay of Plenty in March last year. Aaron George Izett was convicted of murdering his daughter Nevaeh Ager in a 'meth rage' and will be sentenced next February.
