The horrific death happened in Bolivar County, Mississippi, and investigators do not know if the 20-month-old girl was dead before being cooked. Bolivar County Sheriff Kelvin Williams told WTVA that a grandmother is being questioned following the child's death. And he told reporters, the Clarion Ledger reports: "A family member came home and saw that something had happened. “They found the child in the oven and called the Shaw Police Department who in turn contacted us to assist in a homicide investigation. The official cause (of death) is still under investigation but authorities have reason to believe that the child was stabbed and burned."
