Gwyneth Palmer travelled to Marmaris with her husband Gwyn on September 6 for a two-week holiday. Mounting hospital bills and a dispute with their travel insurance provider meant they had to raise thousands of pounds themselves. Her family hoped the Llanelli gran would recover and soon be released from hospital. Mrs Palmer had always enjoyed her annual holiday abroad with her husband Gwyn, and the couple were meant to fly back to the UK on September 20.
