It would have been a good old-fashioned political coup with the prize being the coolest name in Alberta politics: The Alberta Party. “You know how politics in Alberta is, there are always lots of rumours.”At the end of the day, the Alberta Party feels safer and more secure. However, Prem Singh, co-founder of the Alberta Can’t Wait movement, said there was never any threat from her group. About 400 supporters of the Alberta Can’t Wait movement held a meeting at the end of April in Red Deer. There were enough hallway rumblings about a possible coup against the Alberta Party that I mentioned them in a column May 3.
