Prime Minister’s International Affairs Adviser Gowher Rizvi has paid a visit to Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha. Supreme Court Registrar General Aminul Islam and Supreme Court Additional Registrar (Judicial and Administration) Sabbir Faiz also visited the house the same morning. Earlier on Thursday afternoon, Supreme Court Bench Reader Mahbub Hasan met with the chief justice at his official residence. Mahbub reportedly carried with him two files in connection with two bank accounts of the chief justice. Chief Justice Sinha filed for a month-long leave on October 2, prompting numerous controversial responses from various quarters.
