The government will sign up a transaction advisory service (TAS) framework on an international level with ADB for this purpose. After the legal framework, a government body will be able to seek help from ADB’s advisory services. The contract will be international in nature and as such would also take into consideration rule 5 of the Public Procurement Rules 2004 pertaining to procedures of procurement for government projects. Under the contract, a government institution will be able to get fix the ADB’s advisory services on the basis of a single source and direct contract in compliance of Public Procurement Rules 2004. The ADB advisory services will also be available to a government department if it needs assistance in any other stage subject to signing of a separate contract.
