The state government will soon release large number of vacancies of Sanskrit teachers. Sanskrit education minister Kiran Maheshwari informed that a requisition for 3,200 teachers and lecturers has been sent to Rajasthan State Public Service Commission. She made the announcement while addressing a gathering at foundation laying ceremony of state Sanskrit college at Lohagal, Ajmer. Recruitments of Sanskrit teachers had been on hold for almost a decade, the announcement has come as a big relief for the aspiring teachers. It is for this purpose a fund of Rs 200 crore has been proposed for 100 Sanskrit schools.
