"We can meet electricity demand during irrigation time, by installing renewable energy sources at open places and rooftop of buildings," he told at a meeting with officials of the northern region of Palli Bydut Samity here. Installation of solar power projects can bring down the amount of LNG import and save foreign currency." I am urging the Rangpur Palli Bidyut Samity to implement a 200 MW renewable energy project to increase power production in the country," he added. About illegal occupation of railway land, the adviser said, "Campaign against illegal occupation of railway land is going on across the country.
