Share:Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, on Tuesday, expressed that Punjab government is working to ensure the accessof clean drinking water all over the province. In his address at the inauguration ceremony of water filtration plants today in Rawalpindi, he said that 80 percent of diseases are waterborne. The Governor said that all the redundant and worn-out water filtration plants would be replaced within upcoming months in Punjab. He went on to highlight that he hopes that the 7.6million population of the province gets access to clean drinking water by the end of the ongoing year. Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar added that every part of the province will be given equal priority in the process of provision of clean drinking water to the citizens.
