The merit list has been posted on http://www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd/ on Monday. A total of 1,318,866 applicants have been named in the first list, said Dhaka Board College Inspector Prof Md Harun-Ar-Rashid. The qualified students will have to confirm their acceptance through texts to the selected colleges by June 18. About 1.4 million aspirants applied online and through SMSs seeking admission to colleges. The aspirants are being placed in a college on the basis of their merit and choice of colleges.
