LAHORE: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government will not compromise on the ongoing accountability process in the country. He said that the country was heading towards progress and prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The minister mentioned that PM Imran visited Saudi Arabia, UAE and other countries to bring investment. Fawad slammed the previous governments of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for “destroying the state institutions by political appointments and corruption”. Earlier, on December 24, Prime Minister Imran Khan had maintained his resolve for an effective and transparent accountability process in the country.
