This is still the first wave, the WHO says, and with the way things are going, there won’t be a second. It’s just one long wave that never seems to end, and will persist long after most other countries have gotten a handle on their own epidemics. Pointing out what the government has done wrong in managing the pandemic is rather superfluous. No doubt the leadership of those countries would be happy to share their knowledge if only someone would ask. Even if I have to wait five years for that place to reopen, I swear to God I will buy them all when it does.
