William Ruto attended Daniel Moi's funeral in Kabarak, Nakuru county. The security team and support staff had remained at the expansive Kabarak home in an apparent gesture of goodwill by Uhuru. Sources privy to the development said that besides the security team, gardeners, chefs, waiters, waitresses and cleaners had also been recalled. TUKO.co.ke understands that Kabarak is considered a national monument as it houses Moi's tomb, which is part of the national heritage. "They (GSU) are not in Kabarak to protect any living person," said Moi's former senior aide.
