The highest pollution levels were recorded in two locations. Chiang Mai governor Rattapon Naradisorn has declared six districts disaster zones -- Hot, Samoeng, Chiang Dao, Doi Saket, Mae Taeng and Mae Wang -- following worsening wildfires reported over the past week. This has led to a shift in the operational plan, focusing on patrols that align with peak incident periods.
