Laptop­s distri­buted in Islami­a Univer­sity as Phase IV begins­BAHAWALPUR: Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana distributed laptops under Phase-IV of the Chief Minister’s Laptop Scheme at a ceremony in Islamia University of Bahawalpur on Tuesday. “Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif focused on education and equipped the students with latest IT gadgets to enhance their capacities to face challenges of the 21st century,” he added. He said that a guard of honour was given to heads of state in the past, but it was being presented to shining students today as a reward of their hard work. “The government had paid special attention to the social and economic development of southern Punjab, especially Bahawalpur. The governor said he was happy to see the presence of immense talent in the youth.
