The act of callousness was compounded by the fact that the mother had tied a rope tightly around the infant’s neck, propagating that the she had tried to strangle it before eventually dumping it. The Good Samaritan rushed the baby to Mukuru kwa Reuben Maternity Hospital where first aid was done on the baby and the rope removed. The baby has since been moved to Mama Lucy Hospital with his condition yet to get better. “…I wish instead of doing this to an innocent angel the mother had come reached out to well-wishers for help in raising him (sic). Let's pray for the baby to survive and live to achieve the purpose for which God created him.” The Governor added.
