The ODM National Election Board has approved the nomination of governor Okoth Obado as the Party’s candidate for Migori County. The board had been directed to withdraw nomination certificates of Obado and his rival Ochillo Ayacko. Pareno said the report recommended the upholding of the initial results by the County Returning Officer that declared Obado the winner of the ODM primaries. Chaos erupted at ODM nominations in Migori after both Obado ad Ochillo were declared winners in parallel tallying centres last week. Pareno further said Suna West MP John Ndiege also had his nomination results ratified and will fly the party flag in the August 8 polls.
