Governor Nyong'o, sister face jail term in row : The Standard

The application came a few hours after Nyong’o and Ms Nyagoy withdrew an appeal challenging a court decision directing them to share the property. According to Odhiambo, the two and other family members; Susan Mudhune, Esther Nyong’o and Mary Owiti were yet to render an account of the estate. In an application filed under a certificate of urgency, Odhiambo sought for five orders including prayers for a jail term for both Nyong’o and Nyagoy for a period not exceeding six months. On October 11, Justice Thrispisa Cherere revoked the administrative certificate that placed Nyong’o and Nyagoy as the sole controllers of the expansive estate. In earlier proceedings, Nyongo and Nyagoy had objected to the inclusion of the two nephews, saying they were not beneficiaries of the property.
