Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has dismissed all members of the County Executive Committee in a far-reaching reorganisation aimed at streamlining governance and improving service delivery. “The reorganisation of the County Executive has been undertaken in the exercise of the constitutional mandate to ensure effective governance and service delivery,” Lusaka said. Despite the sweeping changes, the county boss sought to reassure residents that essential services will not be disrupted. “The county government remains committed to continuity of services and appropriate administrative measures have been put in place to ensure that there is no disruption in the delivery of essential services,” Lusaka said. The governor also took a moment to acknowledge the outgoing officials for their service, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to constitutionalism and due process.
