Five officials of Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago's campaign team were seriously injured when unknown people attacked them on Saturday night. The five, including Mr Mandago's chief campaigner Jairus Mutai, were accosted in Langas by assailants who overtook their vehicle and blocked them. The incident comes barely a week after governor aspirant Kiprop Bundotich alias Buzeki's convoy was attacked as it entered town last weekend.
