The GMA had, in a statement, questioned government’s commitment to implementing an agreement reached in October 2018, aimed at providing better conditions of service for members of the Association. The GMA said it found out following the implementation process that, government had unilaterally varied the terms of the agreement without recourse to it. However, to the dismay of the GMA, government has again failed to abide by the agreed March 2019 implementation date. He stressed that government is committed to implementing the agreement reached in 2018 and the monies will be released at the end of April.
