Addressing the press in Mlolongo town on Monday, Odhiambo said the joint support in curbing crime will improve security at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Syokimau Estate and it's environs. “The Civil Aviation Installation needs a serious guarding 24/07,” said Odhiambo. Odhiambo said police patrols should also be intensified around the area’s Civil Aviation Installation. “The government should work closely with the community in matters of security, we have Civil Aviation Installation within Syiokimau Estate bordering JKIA. Odhiambo said the airport fence should be electrified as opposed to its current ordinary wire mesh which has been vandalized by suspected thugs.
