Regulating bluefin tuna fishingThe meeting discussed the regulation regulating bluefin tuna fishing activity in marine fishing areas issued by Cabinet Resolution No. 35 of 2023, and the necessity of reviewing it periodically, and amending any articles that do not help in regulating this activity. Support private sector fishingThe meeting discussed supporting fishermen and providing good conditions to support the Libyan private sector in the field of marine fishing in all its aspects. Activate aquatic farm projectsAldabaiba stressed the need to pay attention to marine wealth in all activities and programmes, support fishermen and activate aquatic farm projects that have been subjected to sabotage and neglect over the past years.
