The transaction adviser is expected to assist the Ministry to develop a bankable document and assist with the procurement of a private sector partner to undertake the development of the project. “The Ministry of Railways Development intends to apply parts of its budgetary allocation to payments under a contract for construction advisory services for the development of a metro rail or light road transport system. The NPP government has declared its commitment to revamp the railway sector which has been dormant over the years. Ghana’s railway system has collapsed,” he said.
