Government not doing enough to bring to justice Canadian wanted on genocide promotion charge: Tories

TORONTO — The federal government hasn’t done enough to secure the arrest of a Canadian who is living in Bangladesh despite being wanted in Ontario for advocating genocide of Jews, according to the Conservatives. “It’s very disappointing to see Mr. Hossain walking free in Bangladesh, sipping his lattés,” said CEO Michael Mostyn. He appeared to be living freely despite being wanted on a Canadian arrest warrant. In July 2010, Ontario Provincial Police charged the former Toronto resident with two counts of advocating a genocide against Jews. According to the Dhaka Tribune newspaper, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said the Canadian government had not requested his arrest or extradition.
