Earlier, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) had recommended a reduction of Rs1.50 per litre in the petrol price. After the reduction in the HSD price, the new price of diesel dropped to Rs104.06 per litre from Rs106.46 per litre earlier. Prices of petrol, kerosene oil and light diesel oil remained unchanged. The price of 11.8kg domestic LPG cylinder went up by Rs34 and commercial cylinder became costlier by Rs130. Following the increase in prices, domestic cylinder is available for Rs1,416 compared to earlier Rs1,382 and commercial cylinder now costs Rs5,319 against earlier price of Rs5,449.
