It has also reiterated its commiserations to victims and families of the two accidents that reportedly left more than 60 persons dead. Another accident occurred along the Ekumfi-Winneba highway in the Central Region involving a Metro Mass Transit bus and Yutong bus, reportedly leaving eight persons dead. Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Samira also commiserated with the victims. The Road Safety Commission announced to journalists at the Information Ministry that steps were being taken to address the carnages.
