Health Minister, Kweku Agyeman Manu, revealed this in Parliament today, Tuesday, 4 February 2020. “The government of Ghana has allocated an amount of GHS2.5 million as start-up funds towards the implementation of the initial response for our national preparedness plan. “Arrangements are also being made, Mr Speaker, to procure insurance cover for all frontline health workers who maybe engaged to do this work for us. At least 427 people have died with more than 20,000 confirmed cases around the world, most of them in China.
