The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance in Abia State, Professor Gregory Ibe, has decried the poor state of public facilities in the state, alleging that it was responsible for many avoidable and timely deaths witnessed in many communities in the state. Ichita said, “I had raised a motion of urgent public importance theabout the collapse of the health care system in Abia State. You can imagine that up to this very moment, residents doctors in Abia State have been on strike for up to one year. The healthcare system in Abia State has totally collapsed. That’s why it’s called medical and surgical outreach.”
