The Boracay Interagency Task Force announced during the recent Cabinet meeting that they will maintain the tourism capacity of 19,215 persons per day in the island, said Roque. “The most important is that [they] assess that the carrying capacity for Boracay is 19,215 persons per day, including 6,405 tourist arrivals per day,” said Roque during a press briefing yesterday. Puyat said that her department was expecting that international tourist arrivals to increase once Boracay reopens.
