Key government institutions maintained “good” net satisfaction ratings in the second quarter of 2017, according to the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey released on Wednesday. This yielded a net satisfaction rating of “good” +34, two percentage points higher than “good” +32 recorded in March. It used sampling error margins of ±3 percentage points for national percentages and ±6 percentage points each for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The survey also found 64 percent satisfied and 15 dissatisfied wth the performance of the Senate, registering a “good” +49 net satisfaction score, one grade down and three percentage points below “very good” +52 in March. The Supreme Court also gained a “good” net satisfaction rating of +38, with 55 percent of respondents saying they were satisfied while 17 percent said they were dissatisfied.
