Gould rattled off several reasons why Watene-Zelezniak had the makings of a natural leader. "It's an inspired choice by coach Michael Maguire and immediately shows what he wants from the New Zealand national team," Gould told Fairfax Media. He has been granted permission to return to Sydney on Sunday for the birth before rejoining the Kiwis for their three-Test series against England.
