Fashion designer, photographer, and film-maker, Gosha Rubchinskiy has unveiled his second collaboration with Burberry today. Known for drawing his inspiration from the fall of the Iron Curtain and Russian youth culture, Rubchinskiy highlights Russian iconography, both past,and present, via his runway shows and campaign imagery. After a strong SS18 collaboration and my photographic participation in Burberry’s September show through the Here We Are zine and exhibition, we wanted to take our collaboration one step further. Gosha Rubchinskiy BurberryBurberry’s first collection with Gosha, which was revealed at Gosha’s SS '18 show in St. Petersburg in June of last year was inspired by football and Russian rave aesthetics that were integral to the ’90s youth scene. This debut collection is available online and can be found in selected Burberry stores, as well as Dover Street Market and Comme des Garçons concessions.
