Gorakhpur tragedy: Who is responsible for the loss of 63 innocent lives? Congress workers led by Shehzad Poonawalla today attempted to go to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's office in Delhi's Raisina Hill area to submit a memorandum, after over 60 children died at the Baba Raghav Das Medical College in Uttar Pradesh' Gorakhpur. They were bundled into a bus, but not before they caused a ruckus. The Congress and other Opposition parties have come down heavily on Yogi Adityanath's BJP government in Uttar Pradesh over the incident, with one BSP member calling for his resignation on moral grounds. Adityanath said his government had constituted a committee - led by the Chief Secretary - to investigate the role of the hospital's oxygen supplier.
