Source: CollectedAn autorickshaw driver who was wounded by gunfire in Gopalganj has died, bringing the death toll from the violence surrounding the National Citizen Party (NCP) rally to five. Ramzan Munshi succumbed to his injuries on Thursday while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, reports bdnews24.com. Two other gunshot victims from the Gopalganj violence, Sumon Biswas, 30, and Abbas Ali, 30, are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital. Tensions had been simmering since Tuesday over the NCP`s planned rally and march in Gopalganj. On Wednesday, clashes erupted between Awami League supporters and security forces following a series of attacks on the NCP rally.
