Google invites Indian startups for its Launchpad Accelerator programme


NEW DELHI: Google , on Thursday, announced the call for applications for the next session of the Launchpad Accelerator Launchpad Accelerator is a specially designed class to help late-stage app startups in the emerging markets find solutions to their business challenges. This will be the third class of its kind by Google and will be held in San Francisco.The equity-free programme will begin on January 30, 2017.During each class, over 20 Google teams will provide comprehensive mentoring to late-stage app startups. The three-month programme starts with an all-expenses-paid two week boot camp at Google headquarters.Launchpad Accelerator, Google,global lead, Roy Glasberg said in a statement, "Developers are in an ever-changing landscape and seek technical training. To date Launchpad Accelerator has nearly 50 alumni in India, Indonesia, Brazil and Mexico. Startups in these markets are tackling critical local problems, but they often lack access to the resources and network we have here.
