India today celebrates teacher's day and Google played its part by dedicating its homepage to the educators of the nation with a cute animated doodle. September 5 is celebrated as the Teacher's Day in India in honour of all the educators of the country. With Teacher's day the country celebrates the birthday of the second president of India, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was also a teacher. Teacher's day is celebrated on different dates around the world. Google's doodle today is the same that the company used on the Teacher's Day in the US on May 3.
