The Pixel XL and Pixel XL 2 are stellar smartphones with great cameras but they are not without their issues. Google has started rolling out the November security update for the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL which fixes a few crucial problems - most importantly the screen burn-in experienced by XL 2 owners and weird clicking noises heard by Pixel 2 owners across the globe. The update also brings with it some bug fixes and security updates as well as a fix for the clicking noises heard in some Google Pixel 2 units. In order to fix the burn-in issue on the Pixel 2 XL, Google has introduced a few other changes apart from the new saturated colour mode - the update includes a lower maximum brightness for the Pixel 2 XL and fading soft keys for both the Pixel 2 and 2 XL. The update lowers the screen brightness on the Pixel 2 XL by 50 Nits.
