We can’t even have decent broadband service in this country and here is the Senate prioritizing the creation of a space agency. But no thanks to Sen.Ralph Recto, we can say goodbye to any hope of having better broadband services soon. In any case, the DICT has submitted proposed amendments to the Open Access bill to better protect national security. But let us be clear that passage of the Open Access bill should not be dependent on the passage of the PSA. If the senators want more discussion on the PSA, they can tackle the Open Access bill first.
