A man has died in a tragic accident while coming to the aid of a bogged driver in north Queensland. A Strathdickie man, 51, offered to help the bogged motorist and was using a towing strap to pull the vehicle free when it suddenly snapped. The tragedy occurred on the Billy creek boat ramp on the Gregory River, 150 km north of MackayThe strap smashed through his rear window before it hit the Good Samaritan in the head. A Queensland Ambulance spokesman told Daily Mail Australia that witnesses performed CPR on the unconscious man until emergency services arrived.
