EFFORTS of the Gombe Police Command to rid the state of criminals has recorded a huge success with the arrest of three members of suspected notorious armed robbers who have been terrorizing innocent citizens on the Gombe to Yola road. State Commissioner of Police, Shina Tairu Olukolu, who addressed newsmen at the Command headquarters Monday, said that the suspects who were suspected belong to syndicates have been terrorizing the people of Gombe and neighbouring states. He said that the suspects include: Bature Sule, 41 years old from Bambam village, Rabiu Musa, 42 years old of Yari village all in Balaga Local government Area and Shaibu Lawan, 40 years old of Lafi Bulu in Yamaltu/Deba local government Area of the state. The Police Boss said further that the suspects were arrested with one AK47 with breach No 00457, 35 round of live ammunition, one cutlass, 4 handsets and N188,500 cash. Shiba Olokolu further said that other suspects are Musa Kamson 33 years old and his wife Binta Musa, 25 years old Maitunku Dadiya in Balanga local government Area of the state were arrested by the Police for taking the law into his hands by killing a victim who he suspected had carnal knowledge of his wife.
