Governor Inuwa Yahaya has urged Muslims to offer special prayers for abundant rainfall for a bumper harvest, peace, unity, growth and prosperity in Gombe and Nigeria. Mr Yahaya made the call in a message to Muslims in Gombe as they marked the beginning of the new Islamic year 1445AH. Mr Yahaya, the chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum, described the Islamic New Year as significant in the life of Muslims. “As we begin the year 1445AH, let us remember the importance of unity, compassion, and love. ”It is my sincere prayers and hope that this new year 1445 AH brings us happiness, good health, and prosperity.
