GOMBE State People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Senator Usman Bayero Nafada has said that he will build on Dankwambo’s legacies if elected in the forthcoming 2019 general elections. Senator Nafada disclosed this at a meeting with members of the Gombe Concerned Citizens Forum on Sunday. In a statement issued to the Nigerian Tribune and signed by the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Dankwambo on New Media, Abu-Ubaida Ibrahim Kuna quoted the gubernatorial candidate as saying, “everyone in Gombe state must attest to the facts that the administration of Governor Dankwambo has done remarkably more than words can express’’. “Dankwambo had laid the foundation of good governance in Gombe State, every one of us has seen that Gombe state has changed from the lower level to the exemplary state in the country, all as a result of good and incomparable leadership of Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo”, he added.
